Piotr Biesiekirski Returns to World Supersport Championship

27/05/2025

23-year-old Piotr Biesiekirski is set to return to action in the next three rounds of the FIM World Supersport Championship, marking his comeback after last year’s shoulder injury.

The Polish rider made the switch from Moto2 to the World Supersport Championship in 2024, consistently battling for Top-15 finishes and scoring points in five races of his rookie season.

While his original plans for 2025 were disrupted by injury, Biesiekirski will now rejoin the World Championship grid, stepping in for injured Frenchman Loic Arbel with the Flembbo team.

Riding the team’s three-cylinder MV Agusta, he will line up at Misano in Italy (June 13–15), Donington Park in the UK (July 11–13), and the all-new Balaton Park in Hungary (July 25–27).

Each round will feature two races, all of which will be broadcast live on Eurosport.

“I’m really excited to be back racing in the World Supersport Championship for the next three rounds,” says Piotr Biesiekirski“Even more so because of the tracks we’ll be competing on. I had a chance to get a first taste of the MV Agusta and meet the entire Flembbo team during a very short test at Misano about a month ago, and my initial impressions were very positive. Both the bike and the crew made a great first impression, so I’m really looking forward to racing together. I really enjoyed riding at Donington Park last year, and Balaton Park will be a new challenge for everyone. It’s also close to Poland, so just like at Donington, I’m sure I can count on some extra support from Polish fans, which always means a lot to me.”
