More World Supersport progress for Biesiekirski at Donington Park

13/07/2025

Piotr Biesiekirski, the only Polish rider competing in the FIM Supersport World Championship, showed solid progress during both races of round seven, held last weekend at the iconic Donington Park circuit in the UK.

The 23-year-old is contesting three rounds of the 2025 season as a substitute for an injured rider in the French Flembbo Racing Team.

In just his second WorldSSP appearance this season, Biesiekirski delivered strong pace and made noticeable steps forward.

He gained positions in both races compared to his starting grid slots and significantly improved the setup of his MV Agusta F3 800 RR over the course of the weekend.

He crossed the finish line in 23rd and 24th place, respectively, fighting hard with full-season riders throughout both races.

Biesiekirski’s third World Supersport outing is scheduled in two weeks’ time at Hungary’s brand-new Balaton Park circuit.

“We made huge progress with the bike setup this weekend,” said Piotr Biesiekirski“There’s still room for improvement, especially in terms of stability under braking, which made wheel-to-wheel battles a bit tricky. Still, I had to fight my way forward in both races, and even though it wasn’t easy, I managed to gain positions and improve my lap times – so we can be pleased with that. Especially considering I jumped on this bike mid-season with virtually no testing. I’m really looking forward to the next round at Balaton Park, which will be new for everyone and could help level the playing field a bit”.
