Biesiekirski ready for the Grand Prix of Aragon

15/10/2020

19-year-old Piotr Biesiekirski is set to take part in his fourth race of the Moto2 World Championship during this weekend’s Grand Prix of Aragon.

The only Pole on the grid is looking forward to his return to Motorland Aragon, a circuit where he made a strong European Moto2 Championship debut two years ago, finishing both races in eleventh position.

“Motorland Aragon is a track where I’ve made my Moto2 debut just two years ago so I’m really happy to return there this weekend as a World Championship rider – says Piotr Biesiekirski, who’s racing for the NTS RW Racing GP Team. – I like this circuit but it’s not an easy one. Fast, long and flowing corners require a lot of precision. It’s probably a track that highlights the difference between the smooth riding style required in European Moto2 and more of a stop-and-go style required in the World Championship the most. That means I’ll have a lot to learn this weekend. I’ve spent the last days working really hard with my physio on the shoulder I’ve damaged last week in Le Mans and it feels a lot better. I hope it won’t affect me on the bike this weekend. I’m looking forward to working hard on reducing my gap to my rivals in Aragon”.
